Ducati has released its new Panigale V4 R in India at Rs. 84.99 lakh (ex-showroom) as the closest road-legal expression of the brand’s World Superbike prowess. Special as it already is the first and only 2025 Panigale V4 R was delivered by Ducati Chennai on 1 January 2026. Bookings are open across Ducati dealerships.
Ducati’s 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine puts out 216bhp. The engine can spin to 16,500rpm in sixth gear, and that fitting a racing exhaust unlocks more output to 232.6bhp. This can further be boosted to 236.6bhp by using Ducati Corse Performance oil. The standout changes are the ones that reduce rider mistakes and increase confidence at the limit. Ducati’s Racing Gearbox places neutral below first gear, which is meant to cut the risk of hitting neutral by accident during hard braking and corner entry. V4 R can attain a top speed of 330kmph.
